Tanner Hall Skiing Moguls at Sochi

It'd be good to see Tanner compete in some kind of Olympic event*

Also, this makes moguls skiing look pretty badass. Looks like they're having a bawler.

definitely couldnt happen, tanner is significantly closer to making the olympics in halfpipe than mogul skiing. Have you even seen a mogul contest recently?

lets be realistic here. its good to see tanner having fun.. but thats a pretty flat mogul run.. i dont think he could hang on big boy bumps.. come to outerlimits at killy tanner..

OL is the steeper run, typically where they have all the comps.

While tanner used to ski bumps, I don't think he could compete at an olympic level today. The judges would kill him on his hand movements. He does have the pencil 3's down though.

Basically he would have to spend the whole summer training to qualify, and I think the qualification for the US team already happened anyways.
 
Dude I never said he would kill the circuit- and he's not tryin to either he's just out having fun- I just mean that the kid talking like THall owes him something couldn't velcro the man's booster strap ;)
 
Atleast he won't break his ankles doing moguls... haha but seriously, thought this was rad! Would be sick to see the ski boss dominating moguls
 
Eh, I wouldn't be too worried, it's just another discipline of skiing that the young kids have noticeably passed Tanner up in.
 
actually im not a "kid" and i never called anyone out. I was basically knocking the "moguls" and not tanner hall.. the dude can definitely ski.. But this is the internet so way to read into it there "kiddo"...

I dunno, sounds like a callout to me. Were you insinuating that he should come to Killy and get learnt' by following you around for a while? It sure seemed that way.

But yeah, you can tell he's super cereal about these bumps the way he was smashing booze straight from the bottle and dressing like a total fkn gaper on fat-ass skis and pit vipes, so I could see why you'd feel the need to criticize in some way. ;)

Clearly the man is hammered, having a great time and could probably cares more about his goggle tan than his bump comp steeze.

 
You actually don't need to qualify for the US team in order to qualify for the Olympics. You can absolutely independently qualify.

 
You just have to be top 4 in your country and have a top 30 result at a World Cup. Pretty slim chance of making that happen not on U.S team though, because you won't be able to get a spot at a World Cup.
