*Edit* My reply to his story didn't show the one that shows is my second comment.

He added a post on his story saying how kids are weak nowadays for dying from smoking dab carts and how his generation is tougher cause they smoked out of plastic bottles using bic lighters. And I just thought this was a ridiculous post. The man has 200k+ followers and can't at least use 1% of his brain? If he had 2k followers that's whatever but he's basically the "Tony Hawk" of skiing. All the stuff THall does imagine if that was Tony Hawk that would be crazy.

He made a controversial post so I gave him constructive criticism. When u are as popular as THall ur basically responsible for ALL of skiing. Imagine if Ankilla had the amount of publicity as THall now he's a problem. But since he's small it's ok. You can't be that big and make dumb posts.

The only reason I care is because he speaks for all of us as skiers. Shaun White isn't going around calling people soft. Basically making skiing as a sport look like a complete joke and ABSOLUTELY BANANAS

I don't see the point in getting worked up about this. Tanner is Tanner, and he always will be. He's always been the same. Perhaps he doesn't set a good example but he's a skier not a role model. And you gotta look up to him in that way, as a skier and not as a person. This shit has been going down for years.

Yeah... Thanks for explaining my reasoning better than I can. I didn't take his post offensively but the fact he was so confident about it and thought it was a good thing to say blew my mind. Cause you can't even compare the vape pens and plastic bottles. Also I'm using NS mobile and for some reason the title automatically does that even though I have it in right...

My first reply/comment to THall didn't show cause it was a direct reply to his story and when he blocked me it got deleted. But it basically said one and one doesn't go together. Idk about the “Tony Hawk of skiing”... outside of the freestyle world, I don’t think many have any idea who he is.. Candide Thovex and Lindsey Vonn are realistically much more widely known names.

but it’s Tanner being Tanner. He was most likely bring halfway sarcastic and just not fully sensitive to ppl dying on vape cartridges—cuz he doesn’t hang with them he hangs with guys who smoke outta plastic bottles lol
