i know there have been alot of posts latly about tanner, and alot of people are saying he is the best park skier, yet i totaly disagree, i think there are alot of people better or equaly as good than him, to name a few

its all preferance man...many people say this and that abot who the best all mountain skier is...or park like u said but there is TONS of amazing skiers that could hold it down with the best in the world but we dont know who they are because they arent "pro"

you cant say..its all opinion. i wouldnt say tanner is the best but hes one of the best. he can do urban, bc booters, park, and pipe really good. hes all around really really good

the Dumont kills everyone in the pipe, purely cuz he goes so much bigger. Definately a better pipe skier than tanner. But about the slope style, just break down the word, slopeSTYLE. and tanner definatley has Gagnier beat on that aspect. Even if gagnies run was cleaner.

 
^ You cannot argue about style because it really is just opinion, and in my opinion, Gagnier had a cleaner run than Tanner, with more style and deserved that win. Also I think Tanner is the best park skier because not only of what he can do now, but also what he could do 3 years before now, before what other people could do.

dude I like candide more, but tanner is sick but think, Candide is at least as good if not better in the pipe. He can throw probably about the same stuf in the park. Candide progresses things more. Candide has way more balls. If skill was the issue Candide is the best.

I would say that there are lots of skiers better than tanner in one small aspect, ie CR and Jon I think have more style in the pipe, Jon McMurray looks like he can spin like nothing else, and stick it onto a rail. But for overall, meh, thats personal choice.

In tractor pulls, a 'full pull' is the best you can get. Ahh, how sport mirrors life.

Yeah but probably tanner wont be so great when he gets out there , he will remember that day when he busted his ankles and back down a little. Not much but he wont push himself as hard as he used to.. Just a theory.

No one ever reads my posts, so I have no idea why i'm saying this. First thing about consistency. Can Gagnier 10 with a lot of style? Yes. Can Jon? Yes. Can TJ Schiller? Yes. Many people can, but look at Tanner's consistency. Everyone in the X Games fell, except Tanner. There was not one point in his 2 runs where he fell. Everybody else fell at least once. Tanner is the better park skier because he has practiced a lot and can stomp it almost everytime, whereas all those other skiers who can do 10's don't always land them. I think Tanner for sure dominates in the consistency factor, but not always in innovation.

tanner definately compares to gagnier....they are at basically the same level. i think gagnier is better but i think tanner is better at pipe and bc. tanner has better style for the most part. like i rarely see tanner make something ugly while gagnier does some really nice shit but sometimes will get squirrely or soemthign
