Olenick shoulda won. His run was smoother and he went bigger on the final jump. Olson's run was close too.

tanner was more tech on the rails and his jumps were smooth as fuckin butter. i mean, shit, 450 on? gap to nose press (at least i think he was trying to do the press)?

nah, tanners was the smoothest combination of airs and rails with perfect(or close to) landings

tanner run was ill. and that was def a nose press. Jon was sick to but not quite as solid as tanner, olniek sick skier, but i can't stand his style, he throws way to hard. Dumont had some sick runs, he should have def toned it down, and not tryed to go soo huge on the money booter, should have tried to throw something a little slower ans smoother, and not clear the whole thing. Sweet x-games.

I think Jon Olsson got robbed each year since slopestyle began in the X-Games. I'm not saying he should have won each year, but he deserved more than bronze each year, including this year.

1. Olenick

2. Jon

3. Tanner

Olenick's run was so much better than Tanners I mean cmon Olenick did the only 270 off the first stair rail and then Jon threw down that switch 1080 off the money booter...

i missed tanner's run, but Jons first was great, if that was his second, he probably would have taken it. Jon also held his grabs longer than anyone else.

i think tanner deserved it, but if he wants to keep dominating, he's gotta get his unaturel game going. You noticed almost everyone was spinning both ways off the juemep, but THall. he's gotta get on top of that, but he def deserved to win, he was so styleish, it was CLEAN.

What the fuck do you expect? It's like leaving a crackhead in a room full of crack, you know what's gonna happen.

sometimes when im running water to wash dishes or something, i think about how lucky i am to have such simple access to running water and how some people will never know such a simple pleasure.

then i let it run for awhile, just because i can.

 
Olenick's run: Railslide to 270 out on the stairzilla(?) then a unnatural cork 7 safety to a natural cork 7 tail on the hip, followed by a 270 on the c-box to sw cork 7 (maybe..not quite sure..) to cork 5 and a huge clean sw cork 7 tail.... sick,sick sick sick run...

Tanners was: Lipslide on the stairzilla,cork 5 blunt,450 on the downkink rail,misty 720,nosepress disaster on the stairilizer and a sw 7 japan on the MB.

Both SICK runs but c'mon,Olenick had it.

gotta hit the stairilizer to win... tanner rocked it and had a different grab on each hit with plenty of variation in his spin axis too. he's golden, 4 winterX in a row.

In my mind Jon came 3rd because of his choice of lane, he stepped up smoother and more tech tricks but had an uncreative line. On the same note I think Olenick's run was a far better line with tech tricks of every feature. Tanner's was undoubtably sick but I think Olenick should have won based on number of hits, creative lane and consistent difficulty.

 
Olenick went 270 off the first staircase rail, that is some difficulty right off the bat!
