Tamarack?

ive skied there like 20 times

just was too much of a little tyke to appreciate it/take advantage of what there was to offer

if tammy was like it was back in 07-09 this year, i would get a pass no doubt

i skiied there the 4 or so years before it closed, and i can honestly say that is where my best memories of skiing came from. riding the bus up every weekend where they hand out snacks and play movies, shredding the insane pow and gnarly park, and to top it all off there were literally no lift lines at all, you just went right up. all the time. the mountain had like 1/5 the people bogus has.

i'm definitely looking forward to this season.

lol i guess some skier types dont like super fun shredding. i wouldnt listen to what anyone says about tamarack unless they actually skied there regularly.

and yes

no wildwood :(

still have the summit and bowls though

My bet would be that it is going to be a completely different experience then the original Tamarack was. The money is tighter and the staff is smaller. If you like to ski tamarack for the super fun terrain ( which I do!) then you should get a pass. If you just want the original tamarack back with its million dollar park, pipe and amenities, then go to Sun Valley.
Stoked to see Tamarack opening!

so stoked about tammy this season... wish i could afford a pass and gas to get up there every weekend i'm in ID... hopefully i get a few days up there at least!

and for anyone still in debate whether to buy a pass or not, i say if you can afford it (or your parents can) do it. not only will you get to ski a great mtn, but you'll be helping them rebuild and eventually (hopefully) grow.

The whole right side of the mountain isn't open, but you can still get up to the summit. The snow was great today but they don't have a park set up besides the baby park on the bunny hill. There were quite a few people there so hopefully they will make enough money to stay open longer and re open next year.Over- all great experience.
