Tall ts

Obviously I'm new to the whole tall tee and crews thing but I'm looking to buy some from level one. I have 1 question about sizes. Do they get wider by size or just long because 5xl is what I want but I don't want it really wide

It gets a little wider each size, so it fits better with the lenght. But it is narrower than a standard 5XL if that makes sense.
