Tall Tees in the Buisness World

So i am a tall guy 6'4" but also pretty slim(about 195-200lbs). I buy all my dress shirts in a slim fit so that they dont balloon on me because i have to buy pretty large shirts to fit my arm length. but because of this, they tend to run a little short in the waist.

I always have issues with my shirts coming untucked in the back, especially when i am sitting at my desk. So i went out and bout a pack of hanes undershirts in a Tall size. when i opened the package i was surprised to find they were actaully like legit tall tees.

anyways, they tuck in sooooo much better than normal undershirts, and they keep my dress shirts tucked in perfectly as well. so for all you tall guys with this issue, buy some tall tees and you will be soooo much more comfy.

The first time that i ever wore a tall tee was to work, and i will never wear normal undershirts again if i can help it.

all my undershirts are tall. i learned this life hack on accident one day when i didnt have anything clean but a tall tee to wear as an undershirt.

couldn't agree more. I wear tees almost everyday and they pretty much have to be tall or somewhat tall or else they look dumb...once you get into big sizes, it just seems like most companies add width to their shirts, like a non tall 3xl is wide as fuck and still to short

tall undershirts are the greatest.

on another note, the "tall fitted cut" is my favorite in regular t's because it's cut slim, doesn't have huge baggy sleeves, and is tall enough to cover my 6'2" ass when I'm biking to class.

finding clothing that caters to tall skinny kids makes me feel like this...

Threads like this make me glad to be average. Shirt size medium pants size 30. I don't need to try them on because I'm normal as fuck.

Usually measurements are only for arm length and neck size for dress shirts, they normally don't have a length from the neck down

i hear ya man, planning on starting something up this summer for us taller folk. I wear tall tees pretty much everyday if i'm out and about. Being 6'9" is a bitch when it comes to clothing.

I'm 6' 3" and 180. Dude, best dress shirts I've ever found can be had at eddy baur. I know, but seriously the LT are fresh as fuck. They also cost about 65 bucks a pop though.....

lol no, just no.

when you are trying to look "classy" you are wearing a thick shirt and wont see any undershirt through it.

not to mention beaters look like shit through cheap thin shirts, and lead to staining, and/or pitting out the armpits of your shirts.

And almost everyone makes dress shirts in a tall fit. its just gonna cost more, and will never go on sale. but no one makes a tall slim fit...something i need.

and these shirts are legit tall tees, so they could shrink 6-8 inches and still be a good bit longer than my normal undershirts. they currently go down just past the bottom of my cheeks.

i actually hope they shrink a lil bit cause they are a little loose currently.

i wear mostly ski shirts now cause im 6'2" and any normal shirt even in xl is either too short or long enough but way too fat and ski brand tees usually have a tall fit

wife beaters are less classy than undershirts because you wear cheap thin shirts and sweat too much? logical

seeing a sleeve line under a button down shirt seems too blue collar to me and unless your shirts are as thick as a sweater the fabric is gonna lay differently on that sleeve line and be noticeable, also unbutton just one button and you look 10x more blue collar with the neckline of the shirt showing.

you have never bought a nice shirt apparently, if you think you can see through it.

and vnecks dont show if you unbutton a button...

i think beaters look super white trashy, especially when they can be seen through a dress shirt. but hey, as long as you like it, fuck what i think. different strokes for different folks.

dude you love going out of your way to making shitty arguments against me....not talking about seeing through it, went out of my way to make that clear so no reading the rest of your post.

you win man luck deserved to win the heisman, denver beat dallas this year, you're a phenomenal athlete that everyone on this site should admire, and your right about this altho google seems to be more on my side

democrat raised in upper class new jersey household, drive hybrid and haven't eaten meat in 7 months, pretty far from a hick, just pointing it out so this clown above me doesn't lead you to believe you are anything more than the single worst internet arguer ever. quick get pissed and try to use that new info to try to make a personal attack next time you realize your argument has failed.

Bahahaha no wonder you're always so butthurt on the internet. Sounds like you need a real car and a fucking steak.

I'm 6'4" 190 lbs as well and have never had a problem with my dress shirts coming untucked. Not once and I wear dress shirts 5 days a week. Are you sure you're actually buying dress shirts not accidentally picking up some casual oxfords or other shirts?

Weird, I wonder why they make shirts in a "tall" size. Must be for all the skiers and not tall people

haha no but seriously thats a good find

Lawl, still doin the under shirt wife beater look? 100% not even close to classy especially if you can see it through your shirt. I'm calling shenanigans

i don't own a single see thru shirt and no matter what you wear under it its gonna be visible... google and you'll see that no undershirt is ideal unless a) your shirt is see thru b) you sweat a lot c) you're trying to keep your shirt clean? d) keep you cool/warm e) nipples.. those are all the positive benefits I could find and none of those have anything to do with the look besides nipples which is defeated by the wife beater...

just wondering, but do you like to argue on the internet because you are too scared to in real life?

and you have a really creepy fascination with what i posted over the last couple months. you remember more of my posts than i do. I guess its flattering?

just wondering are you gonna keep going out on limbs and totally fail in a weak effort to make it personal with me? having a halfway decent memory is not the same as being creepy, I think anyone in either football thread remembers what you said

I have the same problem I'm 6'4 and have to wear xl because large isn't long enough, I think I got u all beat tho I'm 6'4 163

what was dumb about it? I dont think either of us are trolling.

you went out on a limb calling me a hick, fail. went out on a limb saying Im affraid to argue in real life, unfortunately for me thats also a fail. both were attempts to make it personal, no?

most people in those threads will definitely remember what you said because of how wrong you were while being so adamant that you were right solely because you played football in highschool. it was fucking ridiculous and ridiculous=memorable. also remembering what happened in ANY thread isn't really a challenge.

I have a super long torso- michael phelps-like. Its kinda out of proportion.

a 36 sleeve fits perfectly, but its just not quite long enough to stay fully tucked in over a 9+ hour day sitting at a desk.

I havent bought a pair of pants that fit off the rack in years, so i have to tack on $10-$30 dollars to the price to account for tailoring. why is america so fat and short?
