Tall Tees in public?

Depends on the situation. Either way just do your own thing. Some kid on NS saying "YEAH LOOK LIKE A GOON" should not have any influence on whether you do it or not.

Depends how tall it is also, but if i'm coming home from the mountain or a rail jam and im wearing tall tees- I dont care. But if it's a normal day and someone is wearing tees to their knees its a little stupid sometimes. .02

How many kids on here are actually from a hood?
0 so rep your "hood" because we are all white rich kids or dirt trash ski bums.

Hell yeah...just do whatever you want. Personally I don't rock tall tee's in public, I do wear my clothing slightly bigger than normal people though. Just do whatever you like, your choice!

This is the type of "hood" 90% of NS represents.

tall tees skiing, and on my way home from skiing, not if i were to go ut or go to dinner or school or something

i wear tall hoodies and crews in public like jiberish. but im not the one to judge if someone wants to wear a tall tee in public

i made that mistake i felt so out of place (not about being in a black neighborhood) but wearing a tall tee around some gangsters.... scary

its not where i go any longer but at the neighborhood by my old school people got murdered and there were rapes occasionally. We had times when cops would come and ask our teachers what theyd seen at recess and occasionally kids would be asked if theyd seen where someone went. That was my k-7.

But I do rep mid thigh tees when not skiing. And I will openly admit that I live in a predominantly white community estate. But I don't see how big clothes are considered hood. I just find them stylish and comfy although this point of view generates a lot of hate. Not unlike leaving the sticker on my newera hats. Or WEARING newera hats.

exactly.

Wearing giant tee shirts looks stupid and is silly.

Wearing tall tees that fit you well is just a different style than the hipsters that wear flanel over the top of v-necks or the ed hardy bros. It's not like people assume hipsters are trying to be lumberjacks or people in affliction shirts are trying to be catholics. Or tattoo artists. Or satanists, or whatever else the affliction graphics are supposed to represent.

There is a kid that wears a XXXL shirt, and he's 5'8" (on a good day). Looks like he is wearing a dress

Depends on the length for me.

I think the problem is that these kids are wearing XXL shirts so they have all that extra fabric hanging behind them. I wear large shirts that I stretch to make them longer. This way they're tall but I don't have a cape hanging behind me. I find all the kids who wears super tall shirts and hi top shoes fucking retarded. But everybody has their opinions on fashion.

on mountain i wear 4xl and im 5'9" but off mountain i wear 2xl and its not that big. he must be really skinny if he does in fact look retarded in just 3x

i don't wear tall tees but I don't like super short shirts either. I like my shirts to end like right below where the crotch of my pants end.

I won't weigh in on whether tall tees are "cool" or not, but I am perplexed why so many people change their personal style up so significantly between on and off the hill.
It seems to me that if you prefer big, baggy, and tall clothing on a daily basis, it makes sense to get outerwear that reflects that. If you like fitted clothing, or even just average fitting clothing, why not wear that on the hill?
Better still, how about wear what's functional, comfortable, and what you personally like. You don't need the greenlight from NS, man. Don't worry about it. Chances are that if you need others approval to do something, you're not all together comfortable with it,

only large jackets. and by large, i mean XXXXXL. underneath it's XL, at the biggest. it kinda looks dumb out of context.

So you're saying an oddly stretched out Large T-Shirt looks better than a non-stretched slim fit X-Large? Fash.

P.S.

This is a massive repost that doesn't belong in Ski Gabber. Wear what you want. Those that matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter.
