Tall technical outerwear?

couldnt find it in the search bar but is there any good water proof, nice, durable, quality, tall outerwear? i cant seem to find a nice skinning "gor-tex" like material that is breathable and water proof on a tall jacket. im really looking of something where arc'teryx and saga fucked and created an epic jacket! any of you guys know of any rad companies that are making such a product?

+K to legit responses

Orage JP Retallack Co-Lab Jacket, 3 layer Gore Tex softshell, and it is definitely a longer fit than most jackets I have tried on in the past.

3 layer waterproof soft shell? I'm confused cus normally one of the layers is a waterproof membrane and soft shells aren't waterproof just water resistant which is why they are soft shells... can anyone clarify this?

Is long is very warm. But its only 10k/10k. if you'er in a place that has wet snow or rain IE the PNW then you will be soaked.

armada's gore shit coming out next year is definitely on the longer side... especially the gore-tex insulated coulouir jacket

i have the seth from '11, didn't know it was gore tex but it is quality for sure. they claim the waterproofing is like 30k mm and the breathability is like 25k g (don't know if this is exactly right, someone correct me if i'm wrong) but it's some crazy high numbers like that. i've skiied it in the rain and it definitely keeps me dry. has the nice anorak fit too. i'm about 5'9" and I have the large, it fits well

It's not really "soft" in the true sense of the word. To me it feels more durable compared to a typical Gore Tex 2 layer performance fabric jacket.

I'm on my second season with my JP Retallack Co Lab jacket and I fucking love it. I have owned 2 layer, 3 layer, 3 layer softshell and pro shell Gore Tex jackets in the past and again, this current jacket (JP Retallack Co Lab) is by far the best I've owned.

For more information on the 3 layer softshell fabric check out Gore Tex's website here; www.gore-tex.com/remote/Satellite/product-content/soft-shell/construction .

I think a taller fit set of trew jackets would be awesome. My pow funk fits perfectly but I would not mind a little extra length. Not all of us have massive arms that let us fit in XL technical shells, haha.

i wouldn't call this jacket 'technical' its a great jacket, super warm. But it isn't that breathable and is just too warm sometimes. Go for trew, saga or other orage jackets.

My friend's XL doesn't fit as tall on me as my L Saga. Plus it's a normal fit, so it's also pretty wide and has massive arms. A tall fit would be awesome. I'd hate taking it in the park for fear of rails though... I JUST WANT TO DRESS LIKE A THUG WHILE BEING DRY, OK KELLEN?

as far as measurements we'll just have to see when it comes out. although the large sample size at SIA for the powfunk jacket looked a good 2 or 3 inches longer than the others.
