TALL n heavy skier, need new skis

Yeah, ive tried searching, didnt find anything useful. Turning to you gear wh*res now for some information! Im in need of new skis since the edge is coming off on the current ones. Only problem is, im 1.97m and 98kg(meeeeetric systm). So i need skis that are though and can withstand some sh*t. I ski almost only park (but im old and fragile, so no dubs n things like the youths today do), since theres not much powpow where i live, and last season i skied the Volkl Wall, and have had no problem with them. Good skis, gooood.

I need skis that have a rough top-coat (thats whats it called? I is no good in the english) Have had some problem with ripping the binding off the ski when landing switch (K2 dissorderly and K2 Fujative), but it didnt happen with the Wall.

Been thinking about the Shreditor 102 since they come in a 190 version. Would be fun to try something with a little more to the center, and maybe something more buttery. Anyone heard or had any first hand experience on how they are? Any chance of ripping the binding out?

What else is out there?

Thanks in advance!

What do you mean by "rough top-coat"? Like a textured top sheet?

Anyway some skis with great durability is k2, armada, ON3P, batalla, and kitten factory. Also kitten factory skis have "textured topsheets".

Yeah sorry about that, by rough i ment durable. Dont care about the texture or design. Just Need some skis that can withstand some impact and keep me from ripping the binding off the skip, and that are taller than 185cm. .

Thanks for the tips! Will look into those :-D

Oh okay. So if your k2s ripped out you might not want to go with them again. But yeah ON3P, armada, batalla, and kitten factory. Never heard of a problem with ripping out on those skis.

.Lincoln nailed it with brands. I find Armada top sheets particularly good with the half cap half sidewall construction.

You get the cap construction around the top half and bottom of the ski which is most likely to get chipped. Cap construction is good because it's less likely to get chipped up then sidewall. But you get sidewall underfoot for the extra perfromace.

The edges are also really good at 2.5 x 2.5mm. After 1+ year of constant rail abuse my AR7's have two edge cracks and neither of them are pulling out which is phenomenal given the amount of time I have spent on rails with them.

Don't worry about the top sheet really though because no matter what you do they will get chipped up. Most of the time you don't even need to do anything about it but if the chip is big enough all you need to do is just epoxy it with flexible water resistant epoxy.

Also the Atomic Punx are insanely durable (2011-2014, can't vouch for the new ones though).
