Talib Kweli has two voices in his songs...?

So I was listening to the song "Beautiful" by Talkb Kweli, which I've had on my iPod for a couple years and have heard too many times, and it definitely has two different voices that switch every couple of seconds. Anyone else ever notice this or is this well known? And what's the deal with it? Just realized that I wasn't just too high all those times I thought his songs had both him and Mos Def in them.

LOL if youre talking about Beautiful featuring Mary J Blidge.....its off the album Blackstar, which features Mos Def and Talib as a duo...
 
Hahahaha, I sure as hell hope he didn't mistake Mary's voice for Talibs if you did OP you're as dumb as Andy's cheese socks.
 
haha so weird though. he blends the voices when he transitions between the two. and changes like 20 times a verse, i mean who does that?
 
ive seen him live and he sounds a lot different than in his songs which is to be expected but i think he sounds the same in his songs
 
haha no im not that dumb. and i dont have much talib kweli on my ipod, and didnt even know what album that was on. all it said on my ipod was "talib kweli - beautiful" so i just naturally assumed my ipod wouldnt lie to me lol. maybe i should have noticed my ipod didnt even mention mary j blige, so it could be missing more

but still who switches between the "duo" in a song like 20 times a verse???
 
see i didnt know that considering this is probably the only song ive heard off the album and i never noticed it before haha
