Tales of Mere Existence

I stumbled upon this video series/cartoon about a year ago, and every episode is absolutely incredible. Some people have the gift to convey those vague, ambiguous universal truths about life in a simple, lovely way. This guy is one of those people.
I hope you enjoy these like I have. :)

Warning: if you like these, prepare to spend hours watching the rest. Then again, you could do worse with your time.

It's funny...I didn't intend to pick 3 that were about relationships/love, but it worked out that way...probably because I'm in the midst of a particularly difficult breakup....but anyway.
Buuuut, it's worth pointing out that he deals with family dynamics (mom and dad individually, and collectively), body issues, alienation....and on and on. Shit...he even devotes an episode to how carrying one's books at school denotes his/her social standing, and even potentially their sexuality.
A true modern day philosopher and a gifted "life archivalist".

Ok makes sense, I was wondering if he only made videos on relationships but I will check the rest out.

Easily the most addictive webseries I've ever seen. I watched something like 30 or so in a single sitting.

Right?
Perfect balance of nostalgia, sentimentality, humor, sarcasm, intellectualization, and vulnerability. He could easily fall over the line into laying it on a little too thick, but he shows restraint when necessary. I honesty can't think of a single book, movie, television show, etc. that gets as much right.
Not to mention, the very drawing itself, and the trademark "work in progress" thing, is worthy on it's own.

I made this thread late last night, so I feel like it could have gotten a little more attention had I bumped it in "primeNStime"....so here goes.
I'd love some people to share their thoughts. love it? hate it? I encourage anyone with a passing interest to go to the youtube channel and get lost. Even if you're not overly romantic or whatever, this guy nails simple universal life experiences, like trying to please your parents and/or know them as people instead of as mom or dad, in such an honest humble way.
