Taking a trip to Visalia June7th; Where can I ski?

Decided I would join my mother when she goes to Visalia for a week in early June. I missed the end of my season due to knee shit, so if there is any remote possibility of skiing, I'll pack the planks. How far away from the mountains will I be, and will it be worth going to them? Thanks.

There is a very slight chance Mammoth will still be open but that is about a 6 hour drive.

Nothing closer will be open during June.

Mammoth is the only chance and that's five hours from Visalia. However, Visalia sits right at the base of the Sierras and with a little work you may be able to earn your turns somewhere up there. Visalia is actually one of the nicer towns in the central valley and definitely the nicest places in Tulare County. If I'm cruising over to Mammoth around then I'll let you know and can pick you up on the way, but I'm pretty busy the first ten days or so of June.

alright man, thanks. i think earning turns is a lot more likely than heading to mammoth, but if something changes then i'll take you up on the offer
