Tail Grab Question

Just a question for the people of NS, when you grab tail, is it with your right hand to your right ski? Or your left hand to your left ski? Which is easier for you?

Depends on which way I'm spinning. So if I'm spinning right, I grab left to left to allow my right arm to lead my spin. Spinning left, grab right to right to let my left arm lead. Werd up.

thats about 10x harder than spining to the left and grabbing your left tail, and spinning to the right and grabbing your right tail...something tells me you've never actually done a true tail either way

left to left. i spin left and just look over my shoulder and its alot easier to see your grab this way

i think your the one whos never done a true tail grab. look at what you just wrote, its alot harder to grab tail leading. ive never seen anyone spin left and grab left. trailing hand is alot easier to grab with trailing tail

you've never seen someone grab leading tail? look in my pictures i just recently posted one, just search tail in the pictures section the majority of them are leading tail grabs...where have you been, spinning left and grabing right is alot harder...nuff said

wtf are you talking about? Neil.'s right.

if you spin left, most people grab left hand left ski tail because it will put some resistance and make your tips cross alot easier. You've obvioulsy not seen many people do tail grabs.

to prove it go try what your syaing next time you spin with tails. you'll realise

Good Question: To me it seems like when I watch videos it is a toss up for which is more common/natural between people doing leading and trailing tail grabs. I struggled with this for a while and kept trying both, in a leading (Spin L - L to L) the tail is right there near the hand that leads the spin so it's easier/quicker to grab, but I've found that in bigger jumps with more time it tweaks better for me to grab my trailing tail and then "pull it around" with me as my trailing hand completes the spin. Keep trying them both watch it on video and decide yourself.

when spiining left it is easyer to grab your left ski with your left hand becasue your head is already looking to the left so u can keep spining while looking at your tip of ski

i spin left and grabbing left ski with left hand is a lot easier, but lately i have been spinning left and grab right hand with right ski. i think it looks a lot better than leading...

if i grab right hand right ski on a leftside spin and pull it sets me cork and i love it.

but if i spin rightside i would grab left hand left ski for anything over a 3
