Tahoe-Whistler

So my pops and I are taking a little vacation together and road tripping up to Whistler. Where are some sweet spots to fly fish/hike/camp? Any other cool sightseeing suggestions would be cool too.

Bend, Oregon area is worth checking out for sure. If Tahoe doesnt get snow in the next few years thats probably where I'll move.

Yeah, Bends the shit. Hopefully moving there soon as well

go to the sunshine coast, it's just before you get on the sea to sky highway that takes you to whistler. unlimited ocean beaches and lakes and mountains and no one else will be there. squamish and whistler will have more tourists but the chief and garibaldi are good places to start.

goodluck

Tons of epic hiking/camping/biking if you hop on i90 for a bit from Seattle. I can get you details if you're interested.

The Oregon Coast is beautiful, it's worth by-passing 1-5 and taking the long route along the way. Haystacks in Cannon Beach and seeing The Goonies house is chill, along with the puffins. And if you come through on the weekend, Portland's Saturday Market is full of lots of weird little shops and a ton of good street food. Highly recommended.
