Tahoe Help!

Good buddy of mine from VT and i will be moving out to Tahoe within the next month or so. We've both been there before to visit and shred, but we are currently looking for some housing. What's the best way to find some housing out in that area? Specifically North Lake Tahoe? Thanks guys.
 
Is there a local website or something that has housing postings on it? Craigslist is sorta tough and sketchy for the Tahoe area because most of the listings are either for Reno or for vacation rentals.
 
there is a website called housingconnection.com It does cost most to use ($35 I think), but is full of legit leads on good housing, or just check out our local paper Sierra Sun
 
Ive gotten 7 houses, 2 jobs and bought and sold tons of stuff all in the Truckee area on CL. Learn to love it. Only other real option is the local newspapers, and dont bother with their websites, they are never up to date.

Remember, its a small area, there is not a TON of places to live. Especially ones that are not huge and cost an arm and leg. Its near impossible if you own a dog....
