this is an edit my dog made. the audio levels are kind of fucked becasue he doesnt know how to export properly. plus we dont even no how to make quality compressed vids. if anyone does. ( i no some of you do) tell me how to export a vid to the internet that is high qual thanks and have a nice watch.
 
i am exporting w/ FCP using th compressor. i use the mpeg ntasc 4 large progressive becuse thats what the book said. this is the only way i can get it online.
 
fuckin nasty vid by the way, props on the urbans.

anyways i use FCP too and usually if i'm exporting for the web i just export using quicktime conversion and set and set it to broadband - high.  you can check my vids and see if that's the kind of quality you're looking for.  as far as putting something out at 720x480 and still having it be small enough for the web, i dunno, that's tough.  but good luck with it.
 
for good compression, export in Compresser, with the settings:

web download quicktime 7 compatible

h.264 at 300kbps, (do not use MPEG-4)

under settings change the timecode to 29.97, and under encoder, choose custom deinterlace settings. Then for the first one, change it from "fast (line averaging)" to "best (motion compensated)"

and viola. The edit looks good and is under 5 mb.

I really enjoyed that, the chill music, simple yet effective edit, and good choice of acutally ski sounds to overlay with the music...
