hey guys just another stupid question about the canon t2i.. i just made a scenery edit from my recent vacation and when i compare my footage to other t2i footage it always looks not HD compared to everything else.. could anyone tell me a reason why???

what are your export settings in FCP? it is HD but something in messed up... like the shot with the goats is really bad
 
LOL not as "HD"

HD = the resolution of the video, not the quality.

It's probably how you're exporting it. Also, it could be how you're converting it to use it in FCP. Explains what you did for those two things.
 
yea thats what i noticed.. i export it using quick time conversion to H.264

key frame every 30 frames

restrict to 1800 kbits per second

resize it to 1920x1080

check deinterlace video .. thats about it
 
Im guessing your footage isn't interlaced, so decheck that, even though it doesn't do anything.

You probably should shoot for 3k-5k on kbps and keyframe should be "auto"
