T2i 1080p question

What is the aspect ratio it films in for 1080p? It's definately not 1980x1260, it seems wider.

oh yeah my bad. Mine is weird, it is for sure wider than 16:9

what are you viewing it on? The t2i shoots standard 1920x1080p which is 16:9.

Are you putting it in a timeline thats not 1080? seems like this wouldnt happen...

you most likely think it's wider because your computer screen is probably 16X10 and you thought it was 16X9
