T-Hall's run at NZ open

can we get a fucking video? what the hell is going on down there, no one owns a god damn video camera?

yes, what a bunch of no-good clowns! i want my internet money back! actually, no dubs sounds interesting. i'll bet there were no boot grabs either...

the weather has been super shitty down here the last few days, rain and fog has ruined most of the snow up at SP but they finally got a bit of snow last night

not ideal pipe conditions

Sick thanks man. Even though it wasn't the highest caliber of run, the pipe looked really slow, and T-Halls riding looked pretty clean comparatively. Stoked that he got it!

While I am stoked for Tanner and congratulate him on his recent success I can't really say that the pipe comp that I saw was very indicative of a normal halfpipe comp during the season. It apperaed to be a small wide pipe in inclimate weather with a not super stacked field (baring a few big names), I would like to see more skiing on a true superpipe to really say 'Tanner is back on top of pipe'.

For being a full sized pipe, I was surprised to not see a single dub. Might have been the snow or something, but it's just kinda weird IMO

It was definitely just the conditions. A couple days before the comp I had seen bunch of guys (not sure who..) stomping dub 12s and that. And during NZ Open the snow was super slushy and slow.

Tanner was also doing some sick Dub 12s in pipe to the air bag. Looked real clean. Not sure if he did any to snow or not.

flat is an off axis spin, alley oop just means spinning up the pipe rather than down the pipe, ie hitting the skier's left side of the pipe alley oop would be a left side spin
