T Hall on HBO Real Sports

Am I the only one that can't stand T Hall?

He is a want-to-be-rastafarian who is a pro in the whitest sport of all time.

He makes movies about himself.

Mad respect for recovering, but seriously he is portrayed as a self-centered jackass.
 
T-Hall is my hero, my role-model, and my inspiration for this sport. When i was 8 years ago I was shown a video part of T-Hall in Ski Movie 2 and it blew me away. Ever since that moment I've always looked up to Tanner.

Sure he has said some dumb things, done some dumb shit. But hell, the dude has had both legs out of action not once but TWICE. He could have given the sport up, said fuck it, it's not worth the risk. But no Tanner has poured his whole life into skiing and the industry. He is probably the most stoked person on the planet. The happiest person on the planet. And the most Righteous person on the planet.

Props to Tanner dude. If it weren't for him i know myself and hundreds of other kids wouldn't be doing what we are doing now. Tanner changed the sport. He changed my life.

 
Anyone else remember his old interview on HBO back when he was like 16-18 yrs old. One part of it was him, pep, and some others where seasoning a gap to down rail at June or Mammoth, and THall flips out because someone salted the landing, not the takeoff. Then he goes into the woods and smokes with Pep. It was a pretty good interview/documentary.
 
stoked for the show, I think tanner does do a good job of portraying skiing to the public regardless of what some people think
 
seems like he could be over trying for Olympic glory...

"no x games metal, no Olympic metal, no other metal is gonna make you feel like that"

... which I hope is true. save yourself for the movies T. You have enough trickery hardware and those curious mexican knee injections won't actually make you younger.
 
Its not espn, not cnn, not fox news, this ain't television. this is real skiing on real sports on real hbo! i'm sorry to say it but that guy from fox news you aint the best. we have bryant gumble, THAT's the best interviewer!
