Sad thing is I don't see a comeback in the pipe. The game has progressed a lot and he will be 30 by the 2014 Olympics. But, I do think he will continue to tear things up in movies and edits.

I dont know, there was a tramp edit of him floating around a couple weeks ago and it was amazing how athletic he still is after all of his injuries. I believe he could definitely do some awesome pipe if he focuses on it.
 
as I'm approaching this age I definitely do not want to disagree with you, however there is not lots of life left in a pro freeskier trying to compete with 17 year olds. Especially for someone who has sustained the injuries like Tanner did.

I'm not saying he's not going to shred, as I'm sure he will for a long time, but the days of competing with the Youngin's I think are pretty much dunzo.
 
I would never discount a return to pipe by Tanner, he's like Farve...he's not going to quit. Watch his tramp edit, the guy hasn't lost anything in the air. If he can keep his knee's from hurting too much he'll be back, may not be number one, but he'll be Dew Tour level for sure
 
Actually, he broke both his legs and destroyed both his knees, and he has through hard work and dedication (and some really big needles) recovered from a second career ending injury. That is a comeback if I have ever seen one.
 
He's been breaking his dick to get back in the game. It takes a year of hard work to come back from massive injuries like that, not a bunch of chillin'...

Jesus that man has some innate style. There were times I didn't like his BC 'steeze' but you can't deny his air sense and fluidity.
 
its cool to see tanner back in the park after all his injuries and all, but a recovery back to his former status just seems a little unlikely at this point. hes great and has put in more work than anyone but i cant see him competing in pipe at x games level and winning again.
