don't mean to KRUSH your hopes and dreams, but even just creating this thread was more than a waste of your time. you pretty much hit the nail on the head with your last sentence... not pretty much, you did hit the nail dead on the head.
 
For someone who has the title "marketing manager" Krotch doesn't have the slightest idea how to market anything. Sucking burtners dick doesn't count as marketing, sorry.

I really like how he cuts every syndicate rider, and burns bridges with every single ski production company that would maybe like to come to snoqualmie. I REALLY like how he wastes all his time and energy STILL trying to blow up people like ivan marcinko. No on wants to watch some 35 year old guy do tricks that teenagers were doing 4 years ago.

Sick edits btw marcinko... 200 bucks a week? for that?! If people are getting paid for shit like that, then come cut me a check, I took a pretty big shit this morning.

Fuck Krush and everything he stands for.

The funny thing is I was checking the Summit page, snow report and all, and I saw this add for Freeride Amp Camps teaching young kidas how to ride in the park. I coach the Freeride team over at Crystal (which includes snowboarding by the way), and I thought it would be cool to send some of my young rippers over to this amp camp to learn how to freestyle as well as rip bc. Then I noticed the "Snowboarding Only" comment... ok... then the next click was to the syndicate team page where I made my final conclusion.

you do realize that the mountain has changed ownership more than 3 times over the last decade, and it gets worse every time right?
Each time, Krush is given more freedom because the new owners have no idea whats going on with the mountain.
 
I don't think the Booth takeover should be an indication of how Boyne's going to perform. I have heard they're not happy with much going on up there. It will be surprising to see if CNL makes some of the major investments/changes required.

As far a boyne running the show... we'll see how it goes. I wouldn't use crystal as an example for the way the mountain is going to be run. Look at places like Brighton.
 
the thing that gets me the most out of any problem with the way he runs shit is that he gives the washed up, 35 year old, no job, fuckface, alcoholic...snowskaters more chance to show people whats good than crowd of skiers these days that kick it at snoqualmie. Thats my last complaint about the dude.
 
my biggest complaint, is along those lines, but more how he views them as holy,

I mean it was 3 years ago now that he suspended you for speaking your mind right? which is total bullshit.
 
that's really too bad, i guess the rumors i heard where true then as well My friend was telling me that pbp was thinking of doing a big shoot there but somebody wanted them to pay snocrumie for them to come shoot. I am going to go out on a limb and say the man was krush. No respect anymore.
 
thats bullshit !!! we need change ... Our park and cat drivers are pretty legit, the only footage i have ever seen from Snoqualmie s park in a major ski movie was In Claim by match stick productions when Jacob hit the big kicker at the top of alpine bowl... I cant believe they would turn down Pbp though

thorp is right i was planing on going to either schweitzer or big white this feb and ended up going to schweitzer because of the of Poor boyz s jib jam...
 
jumps don't build them selves,

got to pay the drivers to drive the cats to build the jumps

and the cats need gas, which does not buy itself.

costs alot to host a photo shoot.

 
the point of post season shoots is promotion for the mountain. Snoqualmie PAYS the film company to include their footage in the movie with logos dropped in the credits.
