So i got this K2 helmet that looks super dope but I can't remove the ears whitout removing the whole padding and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to take my smith holt's padding and switch it with my K2's padding.. Would it affect the helmet?
I dont see why not. As far as I know, in most helmets, it's not the padding that protects you, but the impact foam that will compress. I actually ride without padding usually and just a hat underneath, and it's fine
