Switch ups

For blind side switch ups, think about spinning a little more when you go onto the box/rail. Like land almost like 100 degrees and you'll feel yourself turning and as soon as you get to like 130 or so, turn your shoulders and pop, you'll get it. Practice on flat down boxes, best way to learn.

You need to turn your head more. Wherever your head is (where you're looking at) is where your body will end up. Once you're ready to switch up, pop off the rail, turn your head, spot your landing, then turn your shoulders to whip your body around.

i was trying them on a FD box today

but i go unnatural on the flat, then spin to go natural on the down

i can slide the whole box both ways, im pretty sure i just need to pop more

keeping my head turning is what did it for me. when i first started trying switchups i was stopping 90 and not commiting... keeping my head turning made the biggest difference

when i do switch ups i head on to the rail farther one way beceuse when i spin them i seem to fall off the other way! understand?

blind side swithups are alot harder but look way steezier, practice them on FD boxes and then when you try frontside, they should be easier

Try doing it natty to unnatty, you should be able to pop better out of your natural feel stance.

also its prolly gonna be easier to spin your first switchups the way you normally spin.. eg if you spin leftside youd prolly have better luck at learning a leftside switchup

for blindside i just go as if i am going to butter hten i pop when i am about 13o and it happens.
