Switch telemark?

there was a guy up at sunapee last year that was trying it and it looked harder specially b.c it must feel weird that your heels can bounce up

the first time i tried i went right on my face. i've gotten much better since then, and now its not too hard.

the sw-tele was about the only cool thing in this clip. everything else was pretty much alpine tricks and he just happened to have teles on.

There's only so much you can change from Alpine and Tele in the park though.

Nosepresses with freeheel are very different. And you surly can't drop a knee on Alpines when you slide a rail.

Landing switch is considerably harder, as well as switch tele-turns.

But other than that, yeah... in the park, tele and alpine can only get so different.

How long has spinning through the air been a purely alpine trick? Some might even watch a alpine park video and say that skiing switch is the only cool thing, everything else was just acrobatics with skis on.

In short, there are no "alpine" tricks dumbass. He didn't just happen to have teles on, he is a telemark skier doing tricks on his telemark skis.

Yeah... I guess I was just trying to be nice. Really, what I meant to say was:

Hells no, all you're doing it Telemarking with your heels locked down.. what fun is that?

Remember, Telemark came first, and freeheelers have been doing

"heli's" and Flips and aerials for just as long as alpiners.

I don't wanna get into an argument of what is better, because there will never be a winner.. I was just showing a video with switch tele turns in it. (as the thread topic states)
