What is the differece between switch on a rail and switch tails on a rail. Is there a difference.

switch tails=going switch on but tails over the rail first

switch lip=switch on noses over first

it doesnt make a difference if theres no stepup

Assuming the skier is right foot forward

Switch on - Rail isn't a step up, hop on and slide normally

Switch Lip - Rail is a step up, hop on from the right side of the lip, slide right foot forward

Switch Tails - Rail is a step up, hop on from the left side of the lip, slide right foot forward
