Switch rodeo 5 help

So I've recently started doing switch rodeos and had minimal trouble learning, however that was on a medium size jump and this weekend I tried bringing them to much bigger jumps. The problem was on the big jumps I always over rotated way to much. Anyone have any advice on how to slow down the rotation I just can't figure out how to float them.

throw in a grab more complex than a safety or japan. it will slow you for sure, maybe a blunt or stale fish

try not to throw your shoulder down as hard. also if you need to you can open up more
