Switch Not Rewarded in Pipe? Your thoughts please.

So I just watched the Kiwi pipe comp video. I absolutely SUCK at pipe (like I can do straight airs, barely...) so perhaps I don't know pipe judging at all. But, AJ Kemp's run seemed to me to FAR superior in difficulty level than any other run. He threw so much switch with big spins with pretty good amplitude. Jossi's winning run seemed like pretty normal stuff - 9's, a flair, a 5 I think. His last hit was pretty nice (was it a switch 9?), but it seemed like AJ's was on a different level. Personally it seems like difficulty is still not rewarded like it should be. Yes height is a good thing in the pipe, but it seems to be unfairly weighted over technical difficulty. Am I just wrong here? I am okay with that, I just want to throw it out there. Anyone else think that AJ's run and others like it should be more highly rewarded?

I agree. AJ definitely wasnt going as big as jossi or taylor but his techincality was unmatched. the podium shouldve gone:

1.AJ

2.Jossi

3.Taylor

i agree, AJ had a fantastic run, and his level of technical difficulty was much higher than the others, to the point that it outdid his lack of amplitude.

i hope we see him at x games.

I also struggle to judge pipe runs, but I agree, AJ had a tech run and also looked so smooth. I would have given it to him.
