Switch 3

Landed my first "proper" switch 3 today. Floated the fuck out of it and afterbanged it too. Soo chuffed. Felt really nice. Another trick added to the repetoire. :)

See, why do you have to post this?

Back in the day, kids on here would be stoked for him! Now it's just "end claim" or "/claim". Fuck off. He's excited, and maybe he doesn't have anywhere to share his excitement. So he came here.

I'd rather see 1,000,000 threads where kids landed new tricks, than 1,000,000 threads on Simon's new suit or line afterbangs.

I'm even gonna use my first post to say 'congrats'! Really, not everyone on here is throwing rodeos and corking their spins. I just started getting into skiing and hit my first 3's two weeks ago. I'm 18, so I have kids passing me up all over, but I was happy. You should be too.

By the way, any tips would be great. Every, and I mean every time I rotate out of switch I loose a ski. I'm making sure not to catch an edge, but I think it may be my crap-tastic salomon bindings (broken 4 times in past 2 years)

sick bro how hard was that shit?

i can spin switch 1's and i over rotated a bit the other day, lets say i did a switch 200, which made me think i could try a switch 3, last run i go for it and got a switch 270. if i tweaked a bit could i stomper no problem?

i dont like you sometimes, but i like you right now

good stuff

and to the thread creator - good work dude

Any advice for where your weight should be for taking off switch on big jumps? Like to get the proper arc and not land backseat taking off forward you press your shins against the tongue, so in theory I guess you'd press your calf against the rear of the boot for switch... but that seems wrong. Really wrong. Anyone know?
