Switch 10

I just think its weird that they're making a bigger deal out of a 13 year-old landing a switch 10 and winning the junior event than a 14 year-old landing a whole sick run completely clean and winning the mens event.

Carter Martin straight outta PC could have won if he stomped his 2nd run in ooniors cuz he did a sick five crit to switch 7 uncrossed lead nose mute to switch 10 mute but fell cuz his binding ejected in the slush wehn he carved to get back in line with the last yump

I nailed a couple of sw 10s this year. I prob woulda done it sooner, but my home mountains biggest jump is 15 feet, and even the jump I did it one was small for it with shooting most of the landing at 35 feet. The point is if you can 7, then as you scale up in jumps you should have no problem spinning more. It doesn't mean they'll look nice tho.

if your point is that those grabs are predictable, i think your missing the point. god forbid the 13year old doesnt throw sw 10 octo.

man i feel like shit.....so many of these young guns are soo good....like a year back i skied at Park City and colby stevenson was there and he was giving me a run for my money....of course i have gotten a ton better but still he was like way younger than i was

faaaaark!schlopy is getting good. and gagnier- sw 10 at 13 years. imagine what they'll be doing when theyre 18 or so...

yeah. why do they make a bigger deal out of a one-trick 13-year-old when a 14-year-old showed everybody that he actually has skills in the slopestyle???

c'mon sims, it's marketing hype, no point in analyzing press releases for the general public, everyone here knows schlopy is blowin up. wanna know next years winners? checkout the top 5 in the juniors and watch them next year, all of them probably could have competed in the open division and made well into the finals.

What baffles me is why the women don't seem to be progressing. 3's and (1) 5 won the womens category?

It's because the women aren't as diverse as the men. As in there aren't enough women jumping to have a lot of good girls. There's only that core progressing with smooth switch 5s all the way to switch 9s. You got girls like Battersby, Kaya and Nina pushing the sport but they are the closest to non-superstar level, like Sarah Burke, of recognizability.
