how many mounts have you guys successfully gotten into a pair of skis and had them not just break in half?

Anyone else ever just find skis on the cheap or free with a ridiculous amount of screw holes in them and make them work that way?

Btw.. I have a pair of Rossi S6 skis that have been mounted 5 times...

3 locations of fks 155s, then 2 locations for marker dukes...

(I straight up drilled them backwards the first time for dukes because I was absolutely and legitimately drunk)

Damn I've heard of 4 but never 5 hahaha. I go with the ole 3 mounts and then they are toast rule. Have never tried 4.

Not my personal skis, but lots of kid skis require remounts. The most I've seen is 4 mounts. Gotta love countersunk kids bindings!

Idk why but imagining this is making me laugh my ass off. How why wuttttt drunnkkk

My HG transfers are on their third mount but some holes were reused. The core is definitely shot especially by the heel piece tho

First mount for Rossi Demos

Second for FKS with reused toe holes

Third for FKS with reused heel holes

If I took the bindings off, there has to be like 38-44 different holes drilled in each ski. Somehow they’ve held together for the friend I gave them to..
