I really hope it doesn't turn into aerials. Where you need at least 2 triples and anything that isn't a double or triple makes you lose.

 
But really, I hope the guy in the first video didn't win. touched down on the landing and two weak rail hits. Second video was fairly stomped and he held the grab all the way through.
 
funny you posted the triple that didn't win the comp when another dude (Maxence Parrot) did one that was PERFECTi must say that kyle's was much more of a sick trip

Really fucking young to be throwing triples. I mean look at the age of kids throwing doubles. Kyle mack was one to watch for a while now.

Idk it's just crazy.

I think if slopestyle get's to raped with triples they should have something split off. Would like to see a contest with huge booters where you couldn't spin anything over a 7 and maybe nothing bigger than a 2 on or off rails. Just a straight steez fest.

I've known Max for a few years now, seems like just yesterday we were dicking around the park, looking at him toss 9s of the smallest jumps, pumping him to toss a 1260 since ''hey, it's just a 1080 with and extra 180 after it!'' He's gone a long way since. He first stomped this triple a few days ago, its amazing to see how consistently he's already landing them. I'm wishing him the best with all future endeavors and if he wants to toss triples in a comp, i dont see the harm in that!

Snowboard triples were going down everywhere at keystone today. I saw 2 from who I am fairly sure is mark mcmorris and apparently 2 other guys threw them.
 
Really? That's funny because he's been throwing dubs at least since he was 13, maybe even 12.

I wasn't sure. Was going to put it in ski gabber but it wasn't skiing.

Idk. Probably would have been best there but there still would have been kids crying that it wasn't skiing.
 
Wow. this is some crazy shit. There are like 10 snowboarders with triples locked down. X games is gonna be triple cork crazy. It will take a slope run with triples to win from now on in X games.

And to thread. At least on the plus side for big air triples, they build a nice big booter these days with a long landing.Compared to the old days of WUT.

I can't even find any pics of the old big air comps. For those of you who didn't see them, it was a whole different world. when 7's and 9's won gold.
