Suspenders

who here uses suspenders instead of a belt? i am thinking about trying it so that i don't have to deal with a belt and can just sag pretty carefree and it seems like a better method of holding pants up and really not having to worry about them falling down at all. which companies make good suspenders for ski pants? i know armada makes some but who else? thanks yall

I also have the armada suspenders, they're pretty sick. Belts aren't worth it, definitely drop the 25 on legit suspenders because shoelace suspenders are super ghetto

unless you're going for super ghetto which, let's be honest, a lot of us are

That is sick. I might have to pick me some up. My old suspenders from a pair of Firefly pants are destroyed... And I'll probably also be picking me up an Arcade belt to. I don't know why but:

Spring with minimal outerwear = belt

Cold and snowy days with lots of gear = suspenders

TL;DR Why not both?

I've got the armada ones and theyre alright but the clips break pretty easy for the price of them. I've broken 3 clips in the last season.

What I do is put my saga suspenders around my shoulders but use a white shoelace and tie it super loose so it hangs down a little below my hoodie. Pretty dope

they do. they are alright, the clamps hold really well BUT they dont stretch which i was hoping they would just a little. i ripped the loops on my pants because of that

I made my own a while ago. Just buy a pair of normal suspenders for cheap or borrow some from your grandpa then go to a fabric store, buy some suspender material and rethread them. You can make them as long as you want and you won't be paying a shitload for a few pieces of fabric with clips.

saga's are velcro so there aren't metal clips that break, but you still have to have a belt to velcro it around. I used to just use shoe laces under my shirt, worked rather well.

Arcade is supposed to have some suspenders this season but they're not listed on their website yet. I saw them highlighted in the Freeskier buyer's guide.

As said up top, you can use shoelaces which is partially what I do. I bough a normal pair of ski pant suspenders and at all the bottom belt loops points, tied shoelaces to, so that's means I have as much extra sag as I want!

saw an elderly gent at the store with these bad boys.
