so ive seen a few kids wearing clip on suspenders on their snowpants and letting them hang down like the OTT oakley ones. what do you all think about this look?
 
I think it's stupid. Plus I always wonder what the chances are of getting a pole caught on one and eating shit.
 
in dec i spent a few min crafting myself a set of duct tape suspenders. i find them to be actually pretty functional, regular suspenders do not hang low enough where as with the tape you can set them as low or as high as you want. i used gorilla glue brand tape, so they have held up for these 3 months, a large positive us that i dont have to constantly keep adjusting my pants as i did when i rode with a belt. just make sure that they are made properly so that they stay centered on your shoulders and do not fall off
 
hahahaha alrite well if i saw a kid with clip on suspenders hanging out i would LOL so bad, but the pants that actualy come with them like ronins and etc. usualy look pretty cool. I would rock it.
 
it depends on whos rockin em'... i have a friend that can pull themn off.. and ive seen some ppl tht is mad ugly on them..
 
if someone is throwin down and has suspenders dangling from their waist are you really gonna be like "what a faggot look at those suspenders!"
 
whoa that is taking it far. buying clip on suspenders only to not use them and let them hang? that is total poser styles. it's like wearing a fake mohawk wig to be like glen plake or gluing fake tips on your tails so people think you have twintips or some other gay shit

But seriously, I have a friend with the OTT pants and rocks them down. Hey is fucking terrible at skiing, therefore he looks like a huge faggot.
 
i wear my suspender pants on pow days. and i dont see the point of not wearing the suspenders and letting them hang.
 
add this to the list of horribleness on newschoolers... okay counsel is it cool or not to wear suspenders? no it isn't...oh yes it is...whats the counsels vote? okay suspenders are no longer cool because we decided some much for doin ur own thing
 
i got the dopest bibs.. 686 XL tweed suspenders, but when i wear them up the suspends fall down my arms so i just let them sag.
 
i rocked them earlier in the season but washed out and slid on my side and it scraped up my hip pretty bad, i think im done with them for now

i think, as a community... if that's what everyone here is sort of going for.

this kind of talk is totally ridiculous. skiing is fun. we're not runway models, you shouldnt scrutinize every little aspect of someone's outerwear... totally sucks the fun out of riding down a mountain.
 
no ones scrutinizing other people here dude, they're just givin suggestions on what they think having suspenders hanging out looks like
 
my freind has some rainbow ones that are pretty balllin, but he only wears em down sometimes when he forgets to put em on, put if i had some i'd wear em like their supposed to be cuz im fixin my belt a lot nd it gets hella annoying
