Suspender help

My suspenders keep detaching from my pants. Anyone got some knowledge they wanna send this way?

take off the clips and wrap the velcro around a belt or the belt loops on your pants

tie ropes to the belt loops? I havent skied with it like that but i have worn some waders like that, and it worked well. maybe thread the ropes through some foam pads?
