I think this calls for another YOLO or 'Experience life while you can', whod didn't want to do something like that to their teacher or subs at some point in primary school? Pranks are pranks and they are often most fruitful when played on your elders, what you did was funny and not dangerous, if you wouldn't have been tattled on it would have been great.
Then you have take in the feelings of the sub, did he really hate his job as much as you believe? It's not easy corralling younger students with no inherent or mutual respect, especially when they are in a pranky/rebellious age such as yourself. I don't know, I feel for the dude for being stuck, but also can't understand at all why and how you were suspended so damn easily.
