Suspects in POW?

I'm going to CMC in the fall and will be skiing mostly Breck, Vail, Keystone next season.

I only have one pair of skis... My Suspects. Here in Wisconsin I can ride them everywhere...

Does anyone know how they ride in powder? Or does anyone recommend getting powder skis too?

ALSO-

I just went a size up and haven't mounted my bindings on my 171 Suspects...

Where should I mount my bindings?

If only money wasn't an issue... haha!

Which is why I'd like to know how the Suspects ride in POW so I know if I need to save up for Pow skis...

yeah totally. ive never ridden them but im going to take a guess and say that they arent going to be too awesome in the pow pow because they are a park ski. but i could be wrong...

hey i saw your thread about moving up to the 171's and i checked your video. Considering how long you've been skiing you're awesome. But imo i don't think that it's really that necessary to drop a couple hundred to buy a pow ski if your not skiing lines that demand that kind of ski. Sure, it's going to be easier in all pow if you buy a fat ski, but if you're just learning about freeskiing, and big/tree lines in pow, it might help to be on a more user friendly, skinnier ski, that you're used to controlling. I know others are gonna disagree, but i don't understand why 16 year olds have quivers with 4 pairs of skis, and they're paying for all of them. I love cool gear too, but it seems a tad excessive to me. In short if you're an intermediate skier, i don't see why you'd need 2 pairs of skis.

i skiid tree lines with them this season, didnt really have any problems... but i have never skiid pow skis so i havent truly seen the light yet

im pretty sure they used to ride way skinnier longer and straighter skis in deep pow......you will live im sure..... I survived my pipe cleaners in tit deep pow and it was still super fun.

In DOS Media's "Overlooked," Ben Moxham hits a BC jump with Suspects. Yes, it isn't very deep, but still...you'll live.

Then again, they are park skis. If you'll be doing a lot of pow, try for something in between, like an all mountain ski, or even better, a pow pow boat.

haha good one. suspects are a wide park ski. I skied public enemies in pow and they did pretty good, and they are skinnier all around than suspects. 122-86-115 is not "skinny", my chronics are skinny at 111-85-108. They will do fine.

I didn't know I was moving to CO until just recently... and I got my Suspects brand spankin' new for $220.

Doesn't sound like I'll have too much trouble though.
