Suspect base problems

So picked up a pair of last years Suspects at the beginning of this season off an online dealer. I had heard of some problems with the ski before buying it but I also knew it was a great park ski, and its done good things for me so far. Unfortunately after maybe 20 uses ive already got a base blowing out near one of my tails. Basically had 2 questions:
1) I can't remember the name of the dealer, but it was one who had posted a deal on here a while back for discounts on line skis I believe it was? Got linked to their site through that and ended up picking up salomons. +K for remembering the name of this place...
2) Has anyone had any luck getting salomon to deal with the the skis and replace them? I plan on contacting them but frankly, being as its a now used pair of last years skis, I dont see it ending well.
 
well... salomons fall apart...
i have no idea what dealer it was (ask your parents for the receipt), but, you should call salomon regardless
 
i had a pair of suspects and my edges blew out halfway through the year... salomon wont warrenty them or their company would run broke...so many people have blew out edges and from what i know nobody has gotten a warrenty

 
i got mine from shorlineofthoe.com and remember them having line skis idk if it is but if it is there ya go

 
Any one know if next years suspects or dumonts are going to have the homo edge armor, or did they fix the problem +++++++++++KKKKK
 
i think so but they are 100$ cheaper and the 2012 is coming out which i have only heard good things about and that dont have edge armour.
 
2012's are very sick. i was on of the lucky guys to be able to demo that ski. im pretty much set on that ski for next year but long story short, ive beaten up my ar6s pretty bad already this season and had 400 bucks lying around from christmas/ birthday money. i spent it on some salomon suspects from backcountry because everyone at my mountain seems to love them excluding the durability issues. so im skiing the suspects for the rest of the season to test out the salomon durability (yes, i know i will be dissapointed) and will exchange them for teh 2012's (if the salomons hold up better than my armadas) or the alpha 1's/ halos
