What do you guys think about Half pipe skiing as and oylmpic sport on a scale of one to ten one meaning (it should NOT be in the oylmpics) and Ten meaning you are very passionate about it becoming a reality thanks
 
for the olympics i say halfpipe is about a 7 on the scale. it should be there since snowboarding is, but other then that there is realy not reason for it becasuse it is more of an extreme form of skiing, aposed to racing. thats why there is the x games. but it would be nice to see it go to the olympics.
 
8 I think that it would be good for skiing to get some good publicity. I would watch it.
 
1-Just cause snowboarding is there doesn't mean its right for skiing.

We all know that the judging would be shitty.
 
most people forget that snowboarding has racing too, so skiing and snowboarding both have racing but only snowbaording has halfpipe...by the way, i give an 8
 
9 we should have a freeskier halfpipe since snowboarding does. I heard the X Games isn't going to be aired because espn driopped it. I don't know if there's any truth to this.

but maybe it doesnt really belong in the olympics, better suited for the x games and stuff like that, who cares if people recognize it as a sport we still love to do it.
 
3. the world doest care about freestyle skiing. we do, but everyone else doesnt. take a look at the x games. snowboardering footage outnubers skiing about 3 to 1. its all about ratings. most people would rather watch snowboarding, and espn needs viewers to sell comercials. snowboarding halfpipe is in the olympics because there is a market for it. the market for newschool skiing is very small.
 
i think halfpipe skiing is the #1 viewed event in the x-games... dk if thats true.. but i think thats what i herd
 
That would suck I love the x-games. I thought that a lot of people watched it, why would they drop it?
