I used to live in Minnesota. College is a wonderful thing. Especially when you pick a school near the ocean with a ski team/club that competes/rides Mammoth.
So nice I decided to stay.
What college is that? I really don't know any other schools than Indiana colleges. I go to Purdue. My roommate was from Huntington Beach, Cali which was quite the opposite of where I live.
I didn't go to USC or UCLA or SDSU or any of those other schools that people seem to know about. I went to the capital of nerdom, Cal Poly! Great school... filled with science geeks. Great anthropology/archaeology program. Lots of friends from USC and UCLA though, they have teams/clubs there as well. USC's team is probably the best... Although our mens snowboard team was the best when I was present.
Probabaly a large paddle type thing at the far end powered by hydraulics, probably works like a fan and pushes the water, causing a swell, then the pool probably gets shallower and the wave builds up, and eventually breaks
