Surface the upper 25

Anyone got some insight or review on surface the upper 25s ? they’re sick looking but i need something to justify 650$ lmao

rode them all season last year, had a great time. i’m partial to pretty soft skis, and found them to be stiffer/heavier than my previous daily drivers (sakana, vision 98) but once i spent some solid time on them i felt great. had a couple deep pow days on them and they were awesome, and were super fun for carving all mountain/side hits/etc. i wasn’t hitting many rails this year, got smoked early season with factory edges but they were great for the bit of park i did ski!

the only time i really struggled with them was in some shitty breakable crust up in BC- really felt the camber then. they aren’t as surfy as some skis i like, but they are a great all mtn ski and absolutely worth the price. they are what you make of them, as are most skis. plus, surface is a good brand to support and that’s always a bonus :)

Yeah i have vishnu wets I want something stiff for my all mountain free ride days and something i can take west or rip in the northeast because 77 underfoot soft ass vishnus is wicked for out there lmao..

i think they’ll be a good fit for ya, not the stiffest ski out there and if you’re coming off wets they’ll definitely be a noticeable change of pace haha

I also have elan playmakers that I can demo whenever because I work at a ski shop and I love them I hope they’re comparable to them. Overpriced but fun ski.

Okay you're right, to be fair I was tired as hell when I commented. Just gotta echo everything [tag=234928]@lauraobermeyer[/tag] said. I used the skis at sunshine.

I've been riding blends most my life so switching to them was a game changer. They're stiff enough underfoot that I could charge the bigger terrain at the dive and drop big cliffs without worrying then rip to the park.

The noses/tails are soft enough to get up on them without issue but supportive enough to not chatter at high speeds.

They lasted me 2 seasons, 60-100 days a season which says a lot because I usually go through skis every 6 months, still have them but the noses have delamed.

If your looking for a great all mountain ski I'd go for them. Progressed more on the uppers then any other ski I own and I'm an old head

And [tag=258370]@SurfaceSkis[/tag] has the best graphics. 10/10 ski would buy them again
