Surface skis

Ive been looking into surface royales, and im just wondering if they run short in length, for example I know some skis say 163 but are 161. Can anyone tell me if the skis are worth it or not, or any other skis in the 148-152 length range.

My givers are true to size

I have them, great skis most fun skis ive ever used. i split the tip of mine (new models have metal tip and tail protector) softest tails ever. ive been told there baisicly as flexible as blends/semi soft noses/ if i lean back at 5'6 120 pounds loop out standing still, i feel there easily snappable. just know there fun not the most durable and super soft tails, semi hard to use outside of the park

are they easy to swap? Have a pair of k2 sights and i hate how heavy they feel, i can barely do swaps on rails and the swing weight feels so heavy. How is the swing weight?

perfect! what model did you have?

i have the 2019 royales. the tips delamed super quick which we fixed easily, but the new ones come with built in tip and tail protectors so shouldn't be a problem. royales work fine on my 1200 foot vertical mountain on the ice coast but get wobbly and sketchy at high speeds. really fun and playful jib ski,,, can do flips just land centered

Been looking at picking up some royales. Idk if I should get 180s or 172. I’m like 5’7 been riding 178s and like those. 172 seems to small and 180 seems a tad to big. I know it’s only a 2cm difference but idk.

I'm like an inch shorter than you and have the 162, they def too small and I have too use them next year too, the royales have a very soft tail and a moderately soft nose, plus lots of rocker, some mabye get the 180s/ what skis do you have in the 178 If they have little rocker then def the 180

Yeah I’ll probably get the 180s cause I heard they were pretty soft skis.
