Surface skis quality

Has anyone had a pair of surfaces? If so, how did you like them? Durability, functionality, etc. I have had really bad luck with surface skis and I want to know how everyone else feels about them.

From my experience, they are very light and responsive skis, but they do break easily, sometimes within a season.

I had 5 pairs of surfaces in one year. Every single one broke. This happened when I was 14 years old. A 14 year old shouldn't be breaking 5 pairs of skis in a year.

I've been skiing street on my blanks for like two months straight and they're still looking great. so I'm pretty impressed by the quality

i have the 194 cm surface new life's anthony b pro models, and they are a season or two old and are holding up great for me. and ive hit some gnarly gnarly rocks on these things and the bases are incredibly strong in my opinion . for the rest of the ski, just normal wear and tear. also have a friend who rides his surface park skis hard down at mammoth , kid goes like every day, and he said his skis are holding up fine, and his are old, dont even know which model they are ha, but ya iv e heard bad stuff too believe me, but in my experience very solid reliable skis for being so light weight. pretty wild a 14 yr. old broke that many pairs,, damn .

Surface has great quality on their powder skis. Personally for me I do not prefer them because they flex really strange. They just feel so planky.

After hitting rails for over 60+ days on the ice coast you're lucky if your edge isn't ripped out

well yeah, they're park skis, they only last me like 1/2 a season, anyway, yeah surface has upped their quality significantly from years past

Surface are crazy junk skis. I once took some skis that were made into a bench, unbolted them and skied the shnitz out of them, so I know junk skis, and if it glides I ride, but man, you gotta up the quality. Their skis are cheap, but even for that price they shouldn't be like single use and throw away. And seriously, they are total dicks about facing the fact that they suck. all I wanted was a deal on a replacement pair for the second pair that peeled on me, and douche got all too good for me. He said that he works too hard to give charity to stoners like me. Thats not charity to give a square deal when you sell crap, and to call me a stoner when he sounds like he's tweaking. No way man. Any of the good reviews that you see about these guys are generated by the two of them themselves. Seriously, I saw this one chain where it was like within 24 hours, every 15 minutes there was a post how awsome these two guys were and how their farts are like rainbows. Then when the meth wore off, they stopped. Guys, put as much effort into giving good service as you do into pretending you give good service, and maybe your company can hold off bankruptcy for one more year.

4 pairs and all awesome. Planning on getting another pair this year. Spend way more time all mountain then park though. But love them. Maybe some lemons out there like anything else.

I've had two pairs (Live Life 2's and New Life's) and my brother now has my Live Life's and a pair of New Life's as well and we've never had issues. I absolutely love my New Life's and would buy another pair in a heartbeat if something happened to mine.

I have a pair of one life's and they are holding up great.

I also know a guy who has one life's as well and he buttered the heck out of them and the snapped on the rocker at the end of the season. Surface sent him a new pair tho.

Also I've heard this from everyone I've talked to in person who had surfaces; "surface skis are either really good, or really bad"
