Surface ski Merlins

Looking for a touring ski and I've always been a fan of Surface skis. I've been looking at the Merlins and they seem to fit what I'm looking for. Has anyone skied them or know anyone who has, tryna get a sense of how they are.

Don't know jack about surface but can tell you all you didn't want to know about atomic.

On specs alone it seems pretty similar to the bent 100.

I toured on them for a couple seasons. They’re fun and all but at almost 2000g/ski they are not really worth the weight

I have the 186 Merlin and they absolutely rip! great all mountain ski that is also lightweight. I would highly recommend.

I have a cast system on a pair of wide pluses they are fun if you don't mind the weight.
