yo guys im doing a project for school and need some help. after watching hot lunch and some other edits i think that the riders have like a real goofy funny vibe and they are jut super stoked to be skiing. do you think that other companys have the same vibe ? like are other companys more serious about thier team winning contests instead of just skiing ?

in need some feedback , and specific examples

thanks

peace

Yeah, I think each brand has its own vibe. Surface, Moment, Line etc all seem to have the whole not-too-serious vibe, skiing for skiing's sake. Other brands, such as Liberty, Ninthward etc, have a more serious vibe, probably because of them being typecast as 'thug' brands. Salomon, Rossignol, and a lot of the bigger companies also appear to have a more serious vibe, but because they're bigger, and have to run as a business, and win competition

What you have to look at is causality. Do brands condition the style of their riders, or do riders give the vibe of the brand?

yeah i think there is some corolation to riders creating a style for the company, but it seems like companys choose riders who reflect the style they want promoted

yea i was stopped in a lift line and asked about my watch lifes, the guy was from TGR and we had a good conversation about how they were a skier's ski and just really chill. Good goods with a good vibe = sweet company. Thats why i like them

surface has real well rounded team, some doign the big mountain thing, some competing in the dew tour. and yea, after all its all about fun. They're kids kill it!
