Surface One Life competitors?

I had a pair of Live Life 2s and I absolutely loved them. They snapped by the front binding so now I need to replace them. I'm looking for a medium stiff powder ski with lots of rocker. Also I don't want anything much bigger than 180 (live life 2s were 179). What skis are similar without being total noodles like hellbents or eps? I don't want to spend too much either, preferably not much more than $300 without bindings.

If anyone has any suggestions or skis they want to sell that fit this description, please let me know

I don't know about much other stiff rocker skis out there.

Why don't you just get another pair of One Lifes?

I'm on season 2 of mine, they're still killing it I tell you.

Maybe an EHP or Prophet 115? I know they're out of your price range, but they're the only other stiffer, rocker skis that I can think of.

I'd be happy to get another pair of one lifes, I just haven't seen too many lately except for retail. I don't really want stiff I just want something that isn't a total noodle. Also, I demoed Caylors and really like those, but they are way out of my price range.

If someone is selling a pair of 179 one lifes in decent shape for around $300, let me know right now

Thanks, ill give it a try. I already saw that but the fact that he had an offer for $400 kind of turned me away

Chopsticks would be a really good choice. Full elp rocker and their really stiff. Their 128ish underfoot and come in a 175 and a 185. I would get the 185's though if your over 5'7 and a good skier, they ski really short.

exactly what this kid said. They are a touch softer than the one life too. 122 underfoot and poppy as hell. Ill sell you mine for 300 they are almost brand new. Ive been trying to sell them for some time now. Check out my threads if your interested.

Thanks for the responses, I was about to snag a pair of chopsticks, but I emailed surface and asked if they had any demo or clearance pairs and they gave me the "crash replacement" pair of one lifes. I got this years one lifes for $179 including shipping, theyre absolutely sick, cant wait to try them. If anyone hasn't tried surface skis, they should, surface is awesome.

I have the jeff brown 189s in my bedroom waiting for me to get some quiverkillers and shred the gnar. They constantly distract me before bed and make me dream of skiing. I can't WAIT to ski them... But I'll have to, cause I'm married and broke.

chopsticks are pretty stiff, but when I skied them I found you really had to stay on top of them or else they would kind of ski away from you. My brother has LL2's and I really enjoy skiing those, but personally I find the ON3P Caylor the best all mountain--jibby pow type ski on the market. NIght trains are fun as well, but not as rockered as the Caylors. Bents can be fun as well, but a little bit to noodly. Might get lucky and find a pair of used Caylors being sold......but even if its a little extra cash its well worth the money, the build on the ON3P skis is amazing.....I have over 100 days on my proto wrens and they are still going strong.....just can't go wrong.

If you don't mind a combo of camber and rocker, the Radicts are pretty sick. PM InTheFade11., he rides em and loves em. Had been on Hellbents until this year. He says it charges a lot harder and likes to go faster, much more stable though and better for when you want to charge, not quite as playful though,
