Oh i just have no idea how i missed that Joystick order//didn't see it pop up on the store or any social networking sites. I'm probably better off with the One Times anyway. Always good to try something new.

It was pretty low key. We didn't promote it very heavily as we sold most of them into other countries. The production run was very small. We didn't make very many pairs of the THESE 185cm. Just enough to fill orders from key distributors.
 
Where is everyone mounting their New LIfes?

Obviously toward center since they are symmetrical, but directly center mount or a little ways back?

They're going to be my mess around pow ski, not charging lines or going crazy fast, just having fun everywhere and jumping off of stuff.
 
I always mount em dead center. They are symmetrical, so I highly recommend it. Get the FULL potential of the ski. Best ski out. SO PLAYFUL AND STOMPS.
 
Im loving that surface shirt by the way. My 184 NL's are a few inches over my head, will that make them a more charging ski for me ?
 
I'm about 5'8 120 pounds (string bean status) and I ski the 184. You can charge if you wanna charge, you can ride pillows, slash, or cruise mellow pow. Also KILLS it on booters. Go big or go home.

I just bought my second pair of double times (couldn't beat the closeout price.), but i wish i knew what was going on with the double time blanks!
 
So from what I have heard, Surface top-sheets are somewhat prone to chipping. Any ideas of how to prevent this other than just not knocking skis together?
 
If it really matters, round off the edges on the topsheet. And keep some epoxy handy at home so you can put a bit over places where it is chipping
 
Also stupid question here but I dont really know too much about the different surface skis. Are there any rockered park skis?
 
Just pulled the trigger on a pair of 12/13 One Life's. Stoked!

Anyone know if they usually send stickers with an order or should I just send a separate email for stickers?
 
Just ordered some live life's!

Is there any difference between the drifter version and the regular? or is it just the topsheet?

I didn't notice them until after I bought the regular live life's. The drifter graphics are sick, but if it's the same ski, I won't complain.

Not that these ski prices aren't amazing already, but is there any chance you all will be having another Surface Garage Sale this year? My quiver is already REALLY stacked but I want some New Lifes, and could probably justify it if you all are having a garage sale...then again I may just pull the trigger. Let me know please.

How long does it usually take from when I placed the order to when I get a shipping code. I placed the order thursday night and the status is at "invoiced" currently

Hey, I was wondering about the double times, I'm 177 cm and about 65 kg, would the 170 be a good fit for me? I ski all mountain and park.
 
One Life's came in the mail today! No stickers, but my dog says thank you Surface for the giant box

My dad saw the rocker profile and kind of chuckled, lol
 
My brother just got back into skiing after boarding for 15 years. I sold him my LL2's so I could pick up New Life's. Now those are his dedicated touring skis and he picked up Passports. Needless to say, I think we'll be supporting you for a while. Keep up the good work!

I had blanks and liked them, surface is dope. Just got new skis so I don't ride them anymore but I will probably use them for my urban skis now.
