i'm looking to get this ski because i'm 5'11 and the sizes for the atomic punx and saloman suspects were too small. I'm asking because the ski isn't that popular so i cant get the full picture. so if someone has them please fill me in, weight, durability, how they are on rails ect. thanks.

then why comment on it....

9 lifes were bad on durability and holding up. NO times were revamped to be thicker and hold up better.

it was an attempt to make them better which they were way better than 9 lifes but still disappointing the only surface park ski i would go for are double times, they are beefier

go for the doubletime, beefier and waaaayyyy more fun. also if they do break, surface has the best customer service

i own a pair, the durabilty isnt super great, (thin edges, having the tendancy to snap) but IMO they re really fun skis and good on rails, i have broke one pair but surface helped me out with the next pair. they are a really fun ski just the durability is def an issue.

But like said before the double times are a pretty good choice as well they are a pretty sold ski the main thing i have seen wrong with them is some delam on the tips but personally that doesnt botther me much.

have you ever dealt with them before? i have had nothing but good experiences with their customer service. the only times that i've heard of it being subpar are when people complain about edge cracks which isn't even a warranty concern.

because he can bitch louder than others can praise.

When I broke my skis that were the 08/09 watch lifes that I picked up for 150 dollars at the end of that season last season they replaced them with brand spanking new skis.

Can't go saying those things about having that inviational as a company and expect people to still respect you. Kids will be kids, but companies should not stoop to that level.

Yes that is true, I must say not very professional of Surface. Although Spence still can't expect to receive help with a poor attitude.

I guess it would be fairer to say that their customer service is kind of spotty then, the whole thing with Spencer was ridiculous, mostly on Surface's part.

I had a pair. They looked wicked awesome, but I returned them due to a factory defect unfortunately. I would have loved to ride them.

Yes I have read the stuff about durability but you can't have it all. They are super light, and yes the super is needed. So with them being light of course they won't hold up as well. From what I have read they are a really fun ski though.

Waiting until august when they get their 11/12 selection out.
