Supreme “Play Dead”

this is possibly the worst thing Strobeck has created in my opinion and I'm a huge fan of bill. the filming have gotten way too intense and is starting to work against him. that first part literally made me dizzy lol and it was almost impossible to see what was going on. tyshawns last two clips got completely robbed, two insane spots that looked small, imagine the subway gap with a fisheye for example. the soundtrack was also kinda mid honestly, bil usually pick some of the best songs in his vids so I was a bit dissapointed. but its worth watching for the ben kadow part, that made part made me so happy haha, love that dude. also the nik stain/vince/aidan mackey part was super sick. check out bills older stuff like cherry, sickness, pussy gangster, candyland or blessed if you don't know what I by the bad filming and a mid soundtrack, they are masterpieces compared honestly.

I still think candyland is my favorite, and I do agree that some of the shots were wrong (especially the subway gap), but I don’t think bills other works are masterpieces in comparison. Bens part was my favorite of the film but I also really liked the other parts too. I disagree with your take on the music choice (obviously very subjective), that deftones song with the skating fit really well in my opinion. Still haven’t made my full decision on this film, but I think it comes behind candyland and blessed in my opinion.

yea I def need to rewatch too. the soundtrack wasn’t necessarily trash, but not on the same level as usual I think. strobeck is super good at finding more unheard songs and artists but this one had more mainstream stuff, idk. I hope bill can go back to how he filmed in cherry because he is really the goat

nah strobeck is actually a legend, he's given a ton of guys opportunities they wouldn't have gotten otherwise. his filming is cool but he should tone it down a bit, especially on bigger stuff. hopefully he goes back to how he used to film soon
 
I don’t have the attention span for full length skate vids yet but the filming has so much going on it keeps me watching. Unfortunately you don’t see how big some spots are (or what’s even going on lol) but it’s better than closing the video ig
